An Evening of Art, Community, and Creative Energy

Join us for the second and a very festive North Park Gallery Nights — a relaxed, art-forward evening in the heart of downtown North Park. This experience brings together local creative spaces for a shared celebration of art, neighborhood, and connection.

Follow our map to wander between galleries and studios, explore street art, and be immersed in the creative energy that lives right here in our community. With unique exhibits, offerings, and experiences at each stop it’s the perfect way to spend a festive San Diego evening.

✨ This first Gallery Night back in September was a test run — a chance to see was possible. We’re got a great turnout and feedback, and here we are, back for round two with more spaces and art to explore. Let’s. Keep. Going.

Details + Flow:

North Park Gallery Nights will begin at 5pm. Start at whatever location you like, explore, engage, peruse and buy if you feel so called.

We have intentionally collaborated with North Park Main Street and the Thursday Farmer’s Market for this experience. Please enjoy the food and entertainment the market has to offer as you wander from space to space following the map above.

Reasonable parking is available at the North Park Garage located at 3829 29th St.

Pigment: Pigment began in 2007 as an art gallery and has since grown to a design-forward shop known for its curated mix of gifts, plants, furniture, and local artisan goods. Rooted in a passion for art, thoughtful merchandising, and community, Pigment thrives on discovering unique items and championing local talent. Explicit Barbershop: Explicit Barbershop is a North Park spot built on culture, creativity and connection-a place where you can be yourself, unwind , and leave feeling brand new. It’s not just a barbershop, it’s an experience. This Gallery Night, Explicit is showcasing two local artists whose work brings color, texture, and movement into the space! Anela transforms thread into vibrant geometric compositions that shimmer with depth. Her layered, holographic designs echo the sensory beauty of nature and invite you to explore each piece up close. Trevor creates abstract worlds directly onto wood using only colored pencils and instinct. Influenced by M.C. Escher and graffiti art, his flowing lines and unexpected shapes come to life through live drawing during the event. Come view, shop, and support local creatives while enjoying the warm, community-centered vibe of the shop.

Subterranean Coffee: Born from the rhythm of San Diego’s music scene, Subterranean began in 2012 when Gene and Kelsey Padigos opened their first 600 sq. ft. café in North Park. One of the neighborhood’s pioneers, Subterranean blends old-school ’90s counterculture with in-house roasted coffee and a seriously good comfort food menu. With a focus on art, culture and community, Subterranean is a North Park staple and a core neighborhood spot. Subterranean will feature a Christmas Art Show curated by ArtHang @Trixxieland and will be offering 15% off Peppermint mochas.

Mabels Gone Fishing:  a complete delight of a local seafood restaurant, Mabels is known for its Iberian-inspired and Californian cuisine, which received a Bib Gourmand award from the Michelin Guide. Their art and craft hearts bring with them local and rotating installations in addition to a supreme focus on craft for everything they serve and sell. For this Gallery Night, we are showcasing the art of Taylor McCabe @overeasyegg, whose whimsical art is inspired by surrealism, dreams, and a fantasy world that only children can access. A representative from Craft Spirits Cooperative, a woman made, led, and owned spirit portfolio, will also be pouring samples for guests. They will also have beverages available for purchase!

Replay Toys: A local toy store that has completely reimagined the game for the way toys are bought sold and experienced. Replay offers a wide variety of unique toys and rare collectibles that inspire imaginative play and all kinds of cool accessories. This gallery night, Replay will feature a unique scavenger hunt for the many quirky, childlike art pieces through the space. Find them all, get a prize.

David’s Daughter Floral: A newer member to the neighborhood, Davids Daughter is a love letter from the founder Chandler to her dad. A labor of love, the process of bringing her flower art dreams to life has pushed and pulled her in all the ways and they are delighted to call North Park home. For this gallery night, they’ll be featuring a live painter, build-your-own-bud-vase bar, food, and snacks.

North Park Thursday Farmers Market: Your favorite local night market and the thoroughfare for Gallery Night, The North Park Thursday Market is a staple of our community. This gallery night, they will feature two local creators Ezo Land and Grammatique. Be sure to visit them as you grab a bite or a staple at the market.

  • Each Grammatique item is a wearable piece of art, carefully hand made with intention, infused with love and affirmations to inspire, uplift, and protect all that are adorned. Each piece of jewelry has a unique story, just as unique as the persons wearing it. They are conversation starters, an “art bridge” if you will, connecting people through sparkling self expression, color and the magic woven into each piece. Honoring the life of previously used items and reimagining them into new creations, mixed with lux crystals and stones, Grammatique items become reminders of innovation, of joy and the beauty which lies in everything, so long as we see it from the right angle.

  • Ezo Land draws fun sarcastic illustrations and sells them as prints, stickers, painting, and merch in addition to playing resin and clay!
